I'm so sorry it has taken me this long to get our class blog up and running!!  It's ready now so I hope you find it useful throughout the year as well as enjoy looking at pictures of your kids learning and having fun!  :)

First of all, thank you to Jacob Trimble and his mom, Lindsay for this AWESOME 1st day of school snack! The kids loved it!! :)

These were from Jacob and his mom too!  They were given to them on Friday after a great 1st week!  I want to say THANK YOU to both of them for providing the class snacks ALL week!  The kids and I both enjoyed them!   :)

MOVING ON.....Here are your kids practicing their math stations. This happens every day in our classroom from 9:00-9:30 after our whole group math instruction and independent practice time.  :)

Our first topic in math was patterns.  Here is one of the activities we did....

The second topic was graphing.....

This is how we start our morning (after bell work of course)....Students get a partner and we do our Brain Smart song!  :)

We really enjoyed having Officer Hanks come and speak to us last week.  He spoke about his job as a police officer.  He even brought his dog, Kohn.  The kids enjoyed his visit.

Friday was APPLE DAY!  We had a great time making applesauce!  Thank you to Riley and her mom for sending in cups, spoons and cinnamon and THANK YOU to everyone who sent in apples!!  It was delicious!

I just want to say THANK YOU for sharing your kiddos with me.  They are an awesome group to teach.  I couldn't have asked for a better class!  I hope to be better at taking pictures and uploading them   from now on....  :)
